I’m quite proud of these challah loaves I made Friday night.
It was my first time trying to make braided bread, and I think it was pretty successful.This is water challah. It contains no eggs, and instead uses whipped aquafaba (water from soaked and cooked chickpeas) as a binding agent, so it is entirely vegan. A belated “gut shabbos” to you all from my Yiddish roots.
P.S. there is still an entire loaf leftover if anyone wants a piece. 😋
