妻と一緒に早起きして等等力渓谷に暑くなる前に散歩しに行きました。それ程知られてない公園なので使用者は地元の人がほとんどで

す。公園は涼しくて自然があふれているので、都会の鉄筋コンクリート生活をちょっとの時間だけでも忘れられる場所です。

公園の特徴は渓谷の中に流れる谷沢川です。この川は多摩川に合流します。東京では唯一の渓谷と説明の看板に自慢されてます。又、1,500年前の古墳が三つ園内にあります。

その他にもう一つ説明のない, 忘れられない、自然な特徴を経験しました。公園には蚊が凄く多い事です！

My wife and I got up early, before it got too hot, to hike around Todoriki Valley Park. It’s a relatively unknown spot mainly used by those who live in the area. The park offers a cool, green, natural respite from the urban concrete life.

The park’s main feature is the Yazawa River at the bottom of the gorge that flows into the Tama River. The park is touted on a welcome board as the only gorge in Tokyo. There are also three tombs that date back almost 1,500 years.

We also experienced one other memorable natural feature that isn’t as prominently promoted. The park is full of mosquitoes!
