日本の多くの人が知っていると思いますか、昨日は第二次世界大戦終結75周年を迎えました。

テレビでは色んな人の演説など観ましたが
自分の近所の市民の活動に感動しました。
猛暑日の暑さにもかかわらず、彼らは外に立って核兵器禁止と平和のメッセージを広めていました。これは誰でも賛成できるはずです。

As most people in Japan know, yesterday marked the 75th anniversary of the end of World War II.

Beyond the speeches on television marking the day, I was moved by the sight of these citizens in my own backyard. Despite the oppressive heat, they were outside, spreading the message of nuclear arms prohibition and advocating for peace.

This should be something everyone can agree with.
