Preparing for Memorial Day...🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

“Memorial Day (originally

known as Decoration Day is a federal holiday in the United States for honoring and mourning the military personnel who have died in the performance of their military duties. The holiday is observed on the last Monday of May.”

Coming from a military family, it’s been instilled in me the importance of this day, Veteran’s Day and of course the 4th of July.

We celebrate by having friends and family gathering together, often barbecuing, and just spending time with one another. It’s easy, with all of the celebratory events that happen, to forget what today is actually about.
