help!
what is the difference between these two:

뭐하냐고 vs 뭐하고

있어

they both mean 'what are you doing' right ? so what's the difference if i use one or the other ?

    In general. First one is used when you ask again.

    @ry yes. I think this words include something emotion like annoy. You can say it when you say ‘what are you doing’ in annoy or upset.

    뭐하냐고 is kind of “Listen, I asked what are you doing!” 뭐하고 있어 is just normal asking to friend “heyy what are you doing?”

    Person1: 뭐하고 있어? What are you doing? Person2: 개 무시 *ignores* Person1: 뭐하냐고 (묻고 있잖아!/묻고 있는거 안보여?).. (I'm asking) what are you doing/(Can't you see) i'm asking you?

    뭐하냐고 vs 뭐하고 있어 뭐하고 있어? Generally speaking. I wonder what are you doing? What are you doing-↑ now?(feels weird) 뭐하냐고? I asked what are you doing? So what are you doing? Didn't i say what are you doing?
