At this time of last year, I managed to visit

the Kansai area for two weeks. It was my second visit to Kyoto, and I was lucky to make to the last few days of the 夏祭り。本当にうれしいです。実は, I try to visit Japan every year in recent years. If it is not because of the corona virus, I should be there again this year. Hope the virus vaccine could be developed soon, I can’t wait to travel again... this social distancing practice is driving me nuts any time soon! 🤔

I have been to many landmarks so far, but you might be surprised that my favorite places to go in Japan are actually the different kinds of convenience stores and Tokyu-Hands 😍😃 I enjoy exploring all sorts useful gadgets for daily life, and usually such items are exclusively sold in Japan only.

My favorite Japanese word? - is 一生懸命。😊
