When I got in the car this evening after work, the temperature

inside was 47 degrees 😱 The car had been parked in the full sun all day. It took about 10 minutes for the air conditioner to cool the inside of the car to a comfortable temperature 🚗

The air temperature reached 39 degrees today. When I write about Australian summer here on Hello Talk, lots of people comment that they couldn’t imagine such heat. The hottest part of the day is usually between 3 ~ 4pm and which means the evenings are also very warm, even after the sun has set. It can be hard to sleep when the nights are still and stuffy. Tomorrow will be as hot as today☀️
