Last weekend I was on cat sitting duties as my son and his girlfriend

were away for the weekend. It’s very convenient that he can call on us to look after his cats as they live next door to us and tend to join us for meals every day! When I am cat sitting I tend to spend a few hours there in the morning, go back for my lunch, return for a couple of hours in the afternoon and again in the evening. His cats are house cats so they stay indoors most of the time and are only let out when he’s home. He has to keep an eye on them when he lets them out because they tend to disappear into the bushes. Once Chili disappeared and was crying in the fields as she had lost her way!Joe had to go hunting for her and he was getting frantic too. The same thing happened to Charlie. He’s the youngest and keeps crying to go outside. Sammie on the other hand will hide in the bushes but won’t go far.
