results.
✅ I am sorry about your exam results.

We say ' sorry ' when something bad happened to somebody,
we should say ' sorry about ' not ' sorry for '.

But we can use ' for ' or ' about ' after ' sorry '

👉when we have done some wrong.
🍭I am sorry for / about breaking your phone.
🍭He is sorry for / about his rude behaviour.

👉when we feel pity for others we should only use 'for ' after ' sorry
🍭I am sorry for the poor man / animal.

2️⃣
❌Which period did it happen during ?
✅During which period did it happen ?
Normally ' during ' or ' since ' is not used at the end of the clauses.

❌When have you been working for the company since ?
✅ Since when have you been working for the company?


3️⃣
❌Especially young children need a lot of attention.
✅Young children especially need a lot of attention.
' Especially ' is an adverb. It is not used at the beginning of a sentence. It is used after the subject in a sentence.

4️⃣
❌The sun shines here everyday.
✅The sun shines here every day.
If we use ' everyday ' as a single word , it means ' an ordinary way ' ' not special ' and ' not unusual '.
👉Sometimes even everyday objects look special.
But , if we use ' every day ' as two words , they mean ' each day '.
👉Every day I try to learn five new English words.
