I have an English slang tip for you today! The

word is roast/roasted. Although typically this would be a term in regards to cooking. The slang meaning of roast or roasted is to diss or make fun of in a critical savage or brutal way.

On a comedy show called comedy Central they have an annual Roast. Justin Bieber was roasted by his friends and other celebrities in front of millions of people on TV for the viewers pleasure.
