理由が分からないけどネイティブは「I envy you 」は言いません。とても不自然で、教科書英語っぽい。

A: My boyfriend is taking out for dinner.
B: I'm so jealous. I wish my bf would do something like that for me.

A: I'm going to Jamaica in the summer.
B: What??!! I wanna go. (I'm so jealous)
「羨ましい」を言わなくても、羨ましい感じが伝わる。

時々 jealous だけを言う。

A: I went to this amazing restaurant yesterday. I had XYZ.
B: Jealous!! That sounds proper nice.

僕は28年間生きてきて、I envy youは一度も言ったことないと思うので、頭から消してオッケーです。ネイティブは使わないし、古い感じがする。
