Dear Japan,
Thank you for collectively being the hope that my
brother clings to. He wanted soo badly to visit just once. This simple blanket brought him so much joy. It was made by my aunts.
Unfortunately, he may now never get to see Japan. He may not come home from the hospital. Your people, you, and your culture gave him so much to fight for. But his opponent is aggressive, unrelenting, and unkillable. We may soon be saying さよなら instead of またね but I will never forget the way he looked to you all for strength and peace during strong adversity.
Thank you for the way you collectively live your lives. Each of you have struggles, hopes and dreams, and a destiny to fulfill. While he is in his possibly final chapters, you are not. Remember the precious fragility of life. It's like a Cherry Blossom🌸, gorgeous and anticipated, but over so very quickly. Remember to enjoy the season of your life.
21 is very young to die, but because of all of you, he has found some moments of happiness and warmth in what could very well be his last hours. We sincerely hope that he can pull out on last win, but if he doesn't , let me just say
ありがとうございます
