Good Morning Everyone😋
I was very impressed with the results
of the HelloTalk “Topic” post I experimented with about cartoons awhile ago, it seems to be a fan favourite.😲🤔🤓👍 Thank you so much for liking, commenting, and all the DM’s telling me your favourites too.😄😋🥰 With that in mind, I decided to do something similar again and share with you my favourite childhood books. This is a list of books my younger brother and I came up with together, it includes books we enjoyed from when we were little to our preteen years.👧👦👱♀️🧑📚 These books inspired my brother and I over the years to be creative, brave, have a great sense of humour, to be compassionate, and have an active imagination.🤓👍📚👸🦸♂️🧙♂️🧜♀️🧞♂️🧚♀️🦄🦖🐉 Each one of these books holds a special place in my (or my brother’s) heart. One of the books in particular “The ABC Mystery” inspired my family to make our own stories using the alphabet to create a new bedtime story every night.🤓😊👩👧👦🛌 Most of these books can be read by little kids but a few do have a more “mature” content and should only be shown to “older” kids. (For example, “The Girl Who Owned A City” takes place after a virus outbreak that kills everyone over the age of 12, leaving the “children” to fend for themselves. The main character also gets shot in the arm at one point in the story too.😅👶👦👧🙅♀️👱♀️🧑🙆♀️) So just like always, please research the books before showing them to “little” kids.🤓👍 I truly hope you are able to find something that interests you, or at least remember them with fond memories too.😊😋🤓👍📚Download the HelloTalk app to join the conversation.
