I helped my friend open his little cafe this weekend. It was

hard work, but after dreaming this up more than 3 years ago when we both lived in Hawaii, it’s finally starting to come true.

We actually met here on HelloTalk. He was studying English and I was studying Japanese. Through our language exchanges, we both learned that it was our shared dream to open a cafe. We both promised we’d help each other and eventually he moved back to Japan.

Almost a year later I found that I was moving to Japan too and we could actually go for it. It’s amazing what an amazing lifelong friend I met here in HelloTalk. :D
