English lesson of the day! 👨🏻‍🏫📚✏️✅

This is a topic many people

, including many native English speakers, do not use properly.

Every day vs. Everyday

✅ Everyday: an adjective we has to describe something that’s seen or used every day. It means “ordinary” or “typical”
✏️Ex. “Everyday clothing” : refers to ordinary clothes that you wear on regular days, as opposed to outfits designated for special events or holidays

✅ Every day: a phrase that simply means “each day”
✏️ If you are not sure which to use, see if you can replace “every” with “each”
✏️ “I wear green pants every day.”
✏️ It still makes sense if you replace “every” with “each”: I wear green pants each day.
✏️On the other hand, you can’t say “I wear pants eachday” because there’s no such word in English.

That’s today’s lesson!
Good luck studying and keep working at it! 💪🏽
