England, Scotland and Wales

    Is Northern Ireland different country from Ireland? I'm just curious :)

    @sami yes! The whole of Ireland used to be in the United Kingdom. However, most of Ireland didn’t want to be part of the UK anymore so they left. Only the Northern part of Ireland stayed in the UK

    @sami そうですか？ Be careful with calling Ireland an English culture. There is a long history of wars between Ireland and the UK. Many Irish people see England as an ‘oppressive invader’. Maybe some Koreans think the same about Japan in a similar way. Now relations are better between the two countries, but there were still lots of killings 30 years ago in Ireland because of this. Google ‘The Troubles in Ireland’ for more information I also love Ireland! The Irish are very friendly!

    @Phil フィリップ はい! Good to know thanks for that!! Wow It's not that long ago. I'm pretty sure that I have to learn the history before visiting Ireland. Yes! That's one of the reasons why I love Irland! Irish people are so kind and friendly...!!
