Have you seen the movie"The Devil Wears Prada"? There's a part in there, when Andy mocked and challenged Miranda but failed, Miranda herself explained why this kind of Haute Couture still exists perfectly. There's a quite huge difference between popular fashion clothes that we buy in stores and Haute Couture for runway show and design elements. And people even published lots of books around LVMH group to illustrate that. Perhaps you can see the references first? Then you can probably understand why this kind of magazine exists. In my opinion, this kind of things are like the formulas in math and science, sometimes their assumptions seems not down to the earth, while the results they come up are quite useful. At least this kind of magzine influences the daily clothes you wear but you don't know that yet. (And I think the prices are made by market. Hope it's not too offended to you.)

I think that magazine represents consumerism, but fashion is always part of history. Sometimes we don't need much to be satisfied with our lives. Propone excelentes ideas en el video. Gracias 😄

It' s a superficial world, some people consume those clothing because of the status in societies, other people because feel pleasure for wearing those high quality clothing, etc. Capitalism, consumism seems to show an ideal world for some persons. I also wondered why those magazines have 90% advertisements?!. I don't like those kind of magazines, I find them boring, I prefer science magazines.
