Today is a sad day for the hip hop community. God finally called
on one of his angels. I am forever grateful for the music he produced. He got me some really tough times and I was able to listen to it during great times as well.Sometimes we support artist because there music is catchy. Sometimes, the music they produce correlated with parts of our lives. Often we forget that they are human too and every person alive shares a unique story. I’m thankful he was able to be transparent about the life he lived and it definitely transcended into the music he made.
If you have a chance to listen to his music there’s a distinct transition between him, god, and the devil. He had his demons. We all have demons we are battling inside.
He was a god fearing man. He always talked about his relationship with god. Listening back to his songs I can tell that he wasn’t afraid of death because that’s inevitable. Maybe he was afraid of living because that’s always uncertain. Rest easy DMX - you will be gone but never forgotten. I appreciate the music you made and share with us.

I can feel the lord pullin' but he movin' dead slow”
