Last week I visited Liverpool, it's my favourite UK city alongside

London.

The beautiful building in the first two photos is the 'Cunard Building', located on the waterfront. My mother and my aunt used to work there when they were both in their early 20s ♥.

Yeah, it was one of the original modern commercial and leisure points between Europe and America. Unfortunately, this area of Liverpool also has a darker side as it was a major factor in the slave trade. There is now a museum on the waterfront dedicated to the people who suffered from slavery though, so it's good that what happened in the city's history is not forgotten.

@Luke it reminds me a movie which called "Amazing Grace"🤔 The museum must have a meaningful role at the city. As it's important to pass messages to following generations.
