をあまり考えなかったと思います。ツーリストじゃない外国人に会ったら、そういう人は多分何よりも社会に溶け込みたいでしょう。少し恥ずかしいけど、難しい日の時は、知らない人の親切は本当に僕を幸せにしました。

When I became an immigrant, I didn’t know how difficult the life of a foreigner is. There’s a lot of foreigners in America, but I had not thought much about their lives. When you meet one who is not a tourist, that person probably wants to blend into society more than anyone. It’s embarrassing to admit, but on difficult day, the kindness of strangers truly made me happy.
