Hey everyone!

I have an English slang phrase for you today!

The phrase is “Tell me about it” Now - normally this just means they are asking you to continue talking about what you are saying. However, it is often used as a slang phrase simply meaning “I know what you mean” or “I totally agree”.

For example:
Sarah: I can’t believe it’s snowing again today!
Ben: haha yeah tell me about it!

In this example Ben is simply using this phrase to say he is thinking the same thing as Sarah (he agrees)
