when speaking (i.e., “There yet?” instead of “Are you there yet?“).Sometimes the sounds of multiple words blend together to sound like a single word.
For example:
– I’m “gonna go” instead of “I am going to go”
– “I’ll see-ya-round” instead of “I will see you around”
– “Gotcha” instead of “I got you” (meaning “I understand”)
