I feel like a lot of people in the US dont understand the eastern

world because of the lack of education about it. Generally, Americans are very ignorant of the outside world because they are so absorbed into their own media and dont take the chance to understand other cultures. That's why I think it's so important to have friends of different cultural backgrounds because ignorance is what breeds fear. Because Americans don't know about it, they are afraid.
