⚠️CRASH COURSE ENGLISH⚠️
LESSON 8: Using Apostrophes
LEVEL: Beginner
/Intermediate ◇▪︎◇▪︎◇
》As of last week, I've started reading these posts out loud. I will read as much as possible here, and the other voice messages can be found in the comments. If you would like me to read the entire lesson itself, please DM me and I will personally send you voice recordings.
》It's another beautiful Tuesday with your beautiful Prof. Kai😝😂 Today we'll go over all the rules of using apostrophes ('). Apostrophes are used in three (3) ways: contractions, plurals, and possessives. I'll actually be presenting charts I found online because they're really good and short, so there won't be any of my own explanations. NOTE: In the first chart, there's a mistake that I crossed out. Plurals ending in S only get an apostrophe, not an 's. As always, the Test Yourself section will be in the comments!
》For previous lessons in my Crash Course English series, just scroll down to see more posts. Or if you're too lazy to do that, DM me and I'll send you the links🙃
》Guess what!!! The English-learning group chat has been created! So far we have a good handful of members and everything is running smoothly. If you are interested in joining, scroll down to see my post about the English-learning group chat or DM me with questions.
》Note about levels: I rank the levels of the lessons according to the level of grammar, not how well an English learner is able to understand the lesson itself. I try to keep things short and simple, but I can't cater to specific needs when it comes to language barriers. The people reading these lessons aren't just Japanese or Indian or Chinese, etc. I can't speak everyone's language fluently, you know?😂😅 So I apologize if you're a beginner and can't understand the lesson well enough. If you need me to explain one-on-one, please DM me!
