昨日僕はノーサンプトンシャーにあるストーク・ブルーアーンに行ってみた。ストーク・ブルーアーンという場所はイングランドの有

名なグランド・ユニオン運河の中央部に位置する交差点である。グランド・ユニオン運河について本線はロンドンで開始して、バーミンガムで終了し、 全長は２２０キロくらい。ストーク・ブルーアーンでは、運河の博物館や素敵なカントリーパブなどがあり、ナローボートも沢山見える。パブの前にロックス(閘門) が沢山あって、通ろうとしているナローボートを見るのはために面白いと思う。特に中国人の観光客とか初心者とか閘門の使い方が出来ない人なら、見るなんて超ウケるかもしれない！笑
僕はナローボートを１日に乗ったことがあるけど、僕はこのように住みたくないと思う。しかし、イングランドではナローボートで暮らしている人が結構多そうだ。
Yesterday I went to Stoke Bruerne in Northamptonshire, its part of the Grand Union Canal and is a junction point.
About the Grand Union canal: It runs from London to Birmingham and is about 220km long. At Stoke Bruerne there is a canal(運河) and barge (ナローボート) museum and a really nice country pub.
Right next to the pub are quite a few locks, and it's sometimes interesting watching the barges trying to pass through, especially when there are beginners or people who don't know how they work...especially Chinese tourists haha 🤣🙈🙀👀🙆‍♂️ which can be funny!
I've been on a barge for a day (which was fun) but I wouldn't want to live like that, even so there are quite a few people in England who live on barges it seems.
