I have been asked so many times about the stereotypes of my country
and now I just choose to respond by asking people the same question in reverse about stereotypes from their country. It’s like, yes, I spend every single weekend in a football stadium, I eat fish and chips for all 3 of my meals every single day and if you slit my wrists then I will bleed cups of English breakfast tea! My Swedish friend lives in IKEA, she basically makes the furniture herself. Sweden is just one gigantic IKEA sweatshop. South Korea is just a huge stage full of ultra sexy surgery and makeup covered superstars. All Koreans can sing and love Kpop and Japan isn’t even real. Getting off of a plane in Japan is like a magical transformation into another dimension because you literally BECOME a cartoon and will definitely be able to star in your own anime and everyone will love you for wearing freaky wigs and bragging about your excessive collection of husbandos and waifus. – NO!!!
Don’t be foolish. When I tell people that I don’t like football they say things like “Oh, I thought every British person loves football,” and I’m here like, really? Did you really think that? Did you REALLY think that every single British person is a football fanatic?
Educate yourself and think about it before you ask ridiculous questions! 😌😌
