Is there in Chinese such word as "mind"? It's like the center
, the point, from which you observe your thoughts. In Russian and English there are words "brain" and "мозг", which refer to a physical organ. And they're words "mind" and "ум", which don't refer to physical organ, and refer to the subjective centre, from which you percieve thoughts. Also, "mind" and "ум" don't refer to emotions, feelings and perception, only to thoughts. So, is there such word in Chinese? I can't find in dictionaries. The next question. The activity of the mind is called "thinking". In Chinese, I suppose, it's 思维, right? There are 3 types of thinking: imaginative, logical and abstract. In Chinese these are 形象思维,逻辑思维,抽象思维, right? The process of thinking is 思维过程, right? The ability to think is 思维能力, right?
During the process of imaginative thinking, logical thinking and abstract thinking "thoughts" appear. A "thought" in Chinese is 念头, right?
