Diwali 🪔

Today is Diwali which Hindus celebrate, it’s usually

around 5 days and we eat good 🥘, do special rituals called puja, celebrate fireworks 🎉 🎇 , put out diyas 🪔 (little lamps) and design rangoli (colourful patterns).

Diwali is the Indian festival of lights, celebrated during the Hindu Lunisolar month Kartika. One of the most popular festivals of Hinduism, Diwali symbolizes the spiritual "victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance.

Normally I celebrate with all family members but this time I am at home since it is lockdown but we shall be wearing our best clothes and resume normal celebrations :) 😘🎊🙏🏾❤️🎉🪔
