This is the last fresh daikon from our

We made *Simmered

Daikon Radish With Chicken in Yuzu Sauce* 😋
It tasted savory and sweet with a hint
of citrus flavor. It’s the first time we
bought yuzu extract, a product of Japan. Anyone used yuzu extract before?
Dessert was yummy. 🥰

    I like Yuzuponsu too. Maybe many foreigners like it with very citrus flavor. It really goes well with everything.🤤

    @Manami Honestly, I don’t know anyone else is aware of this product and no one mentioned it to us before. This is our first time using Yuzu extract. My husband has been adding Yuzu to his alcoholic drinks...vodka, tonic water and Yuzu. 😁

    @Beth You can also make ponzu , just mix soy sauce, konbu and yuzu juice in the bottle. soy sauce : yuzu juice , 1:1. Or less yuzu if you feel it is sour. You put them in the refrigerator for one night. You can eat a hot pot, yudofu, okonomiyaki and salad etc. Do try it.

    Looks yummy😋 I love yuzu. Yuzu-kosho pepper seasoning is also recommended. The dessert looks like a "taiyaki" (I guess it's an ice cream version), but the package says Samanco. What does it mean?🤔

    @Marine I think daikon is versatile. Multifunctional is use to describe an object, like your cute bowl...use as a soup bowl and as a strainer. 👍🤗

    @Νίκος Yuzu extract is recommended to people who like citrus flavor. 👍 We grew daikon for the first time. It’s a versatile vegetable, pickled daikon is my favorite. Yes, it’s enoki mushrooms. 😊

    @Beth Hi, I've just googled it and Google says "If you're wondering what samanco means, it's a combo of two adjectives – sa, meaning 'cheap' (싸다) and man, meaning 'much' (많다) (ko means 'and' 싸고많고) so literally it's cheap and you get a lot for your money!"😆
