    I’ve watched ‘Local Hero’(←because I’m big fan of Scotland🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿） and ‘Sightseers’🤓🔪‼︎ I was surprised that there was a red phone box at the rural area of Scotland,I thought red phone boxes are set only England..😅especially London. Sightseers was.. I felt quite disgusted for the couple 👫🔪 but I enjoyed touring in the UK‼︎😂 他の作品も観てみます‼︎

    @NaNa Wow! Local hero is a great ‘quirky’ film. I really like the director 😊👍 it’s interesting how red phone boxes are located up and down the country in the unlikeliest places. However many are now being phased out or turned into local mini libraries such as are shown here https://nothingintherulebook.com/2018/11/03/british-phone-box-libraries/ Sightseers is interesting because I wondered if some of the dark humour might not translate very well? so I hesitated to post about it. However the director has a very ‘black mirror/Charlie brooker’ sense of humour so I thought it was worth including. 👍 言及された他の映画についてのあなたの考えを聞くのを楽しみにしています 😊👍

I’ve seen like these photos on instagram!!! because I’m following so many イギリス関連 accounts.❤️and I’ve heard that we can buy old red phone boxes!!!🤭 It seems hard to find the Local Hero director’s other film in Japan..😢 >Sightseers わたしもこのようなブラックユーモア映画は大好きなのですが、Adamさんが言うように、お友達に勧めるのは少々躊躇ってしまいました。😂😂

    @NaNa that’s right! I believe many phone boxes have now been sold worldwide. I seem to remember some have even turned up in some very unusual places! I really rate the work of Director Bill Forsyth 😊 I’ve previously recommended ‘Housekeeping’ in my moments. which I consider to be in some of my top films. My friend said the book by Marilynne Robinson is also very good. Sadly I have not read it yet. Recently his work has been re-released and available on U.K. based online streaming platforms (BBC and Channel 4) いつか日本が彼の映画にもっとアクセスできるようになることを願っています🤞 The trouble with Sightseers is that people may take it literally rather than view it as being a series or events that spiral of out of control in their absurdity. 😊👍
