Sunday was fun day! 🌞⛷

I had been looking forward to this all week. A whole day of hitting the slopes at my own pace (I went solo) with the sun in the sky and fresh snow on the ground. Ok, so there was not all that much fresh snow, as the resort must have been very busy on the prior day. You had to get up way high for the fresh powder and onto the double black diamond runs. Which was fun, too... (photo #2, #3 and #4). It started snowing at about mid-day before it cleared up again. The temperature was always pleasant, I was actually sweating a bit at the start, just getting to the lifts from the parking lot! 😆

The photos are not quite as good as they could be, but I did not want to carry around my camera all day, so these are just taken with my cell phone.

Late in the day, I spotted an American porcupine. I shared a photo last year, and this one was closer, but still I could not get all that close and with the cell phone and I can't use the zoom without degrading the picture quality. Oh well, it's better than nothing. You can see it in photo #8.

Today, I am feeling it in my legs. I am not going anywhere anyway, since it is snowing once again. They are forecasting about 15 cm of snow this time. Spring should return by the end of the week... 😎
