I am a sole parent of one(1) son.

When my son was born I promised

I would raise him to be kind, compassionate, intelligent, humorous and passionate about gaining knowledge.

I vowed to give him the best life I possibly could filled with love, laughter and travel.

I wanted him to always be proud to have me as his mother.

I went to University while I raised him alone.

I graduated from Universe with a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) and a 6.85/7.00 GPA.

I worked hard to become really good at my profession (counselling). I now make nearly 6 figures a year.

We travelled to New Zealand for a month when he was 10.

When he was 13 I took him to Japan for a month. He is a huge anime and Japanese culture fan.

He is too intelligent for high school so he is taking a test to gain entry to University. he will join the degree I am studying for (BA double major Japanese/Writing). He is only 15!

We are best friends. Our life together is so amazing. He tells me he loves me every single day. He tells me often how much he loves his life and how grateful he is to me for giving him a good life.

I think I have succeeded in making all the promises I made at his birth come true.I will continue to give him the best life I can.

I'm proud of myself.
