If you are putting your
“ducks in a row,” this means that you are making preparations for the future or organizing your things. We often put our ducks in a row when we are planning a vacation or preparing for a business meeting. We need to make sure we have the proper paperwork ready, expenditures paid for in advance, food preparations, and so on. “Wanda needs to put her ducks in a row before she sells her house. There are still many repairs that need to be made before someone will buy her home for full price.”
