まだ季節が春ですが、今日は暖かくて晴天で夏っぽい日でした。だから、仕事の後、天気を楽しむために町で自転車に乗りに行きまし

た。過去には別のルートを行っていたけど、最近は新しいルートを行ってみることにしました。そのルートには木からできているペンギンの彫刻を出会いました。可愛いですね。実は去年も私の町に出会った木からできているリスの彫刻について投稿をしました。それを覚えてくれるのだろうか。この2つ彫刻は(3.2キロ)2マイルぐらいで離れていますが、同じ彫刻家での刻まれたのだろうか。

ちなみに、週末に私の町には可愛い桜も見つけました。今までそれらに気がついたことがありません。でも、それらは間もなく葉桜になってしまうと思います。なんて悲しいだろう。

Even though it’s still spring, today was a warm, sunny, summer-like day. So I went to ride my bike around town after work to enjoy the weather. In the past, I used to go a different route, but recently I decided to try taking a new route. And on that route I encountered a sculpture of a penguin made from a tree. It’s cute, isn’t it? Actually, last year I also made a post about a sculpture of a squirrel made from a tree in my town as well. I wonder if you remember that? These 2 sculptures are about 2 miles (3.2 kilometers) apart, but I wonder if they were sculpted by the same person?

By the way, I also found some cute cherry blossoms in my town over the weekend. I never noticed them until now. But I think they will turn into leaf cherry blossoms before long. How sad.
