hi!
One of my favorite hobbies is running. I have completed

2 marathons (42.16 km) and a half marathon (21.8 km)! I love running long distance and it will always be part of my life. I’m curious what running culture is like in China?
I plan on moving there for a year to study. Do you think I will be able to continue running while in China?

@Emma I think you can come to Shanghai first. First of all, there are many peoples like running, and there are many foreigners. You can easily find partners. Secondly, there are marathon races in the surrounding cities. Moreover, Shanghai is a more international city.

Did you find it hard to train for the marathon. I’d love to do one one day.

@Yonlin Wong it was difficult but once you get used to it’s not that bad! I ran my first marathon after 2 years of running. It sounds like a lot to train for one race but it was totally worth it. It set me up for a life time of running :)

@Emma I think 2 years doesn’t sound like much at all. I thought it would be longer.
