あめはやんだが、 たいようはでてこなかった。- The rain stopped, but the sun did not

show itself. ☁️

I took advantage of a break in the rainy weather to step outside and stretch my legs. I was a little apprehensive of getting caught in a downpour, but it ended up being pleasant and quite relaxing out there.

I was looking over the rock ledge when I spotted a fox. It was munching on something and when I made a noise getting my camera ready it looked up at me. It stayed for a little while and then disappeared into the bushes. 

It was great to see the wet ground. This area really needs it. I did not encounter any people until later in the hike, so I just listened to the birds and the flowing water.

Down by the creek I spotted my very first wildflower of the season, a pasque flower. The snow and ice still cover a good portion of the creek bed.

I went to photograph the waterfall, but you'll have to wait for the next post to see it. Too many photos that I want to share once again... 😂
