Hey everyone!

I received a request to discuss the difference

between “trip, journey, and tour” so here it is!

A trip is as you may know a mental or physical traveling from one place to another and returning.

A journey is typically seen as a long “trip” that has an underlaying understanding that there will be discoveries or difficulties along the way

Tour is used to describe more of a planned out series of stops or locations/places to visit

    @Shishi very similar yes - the only difference is that vacation is more clearly stating you are away from work / school / responsibilities

    Yes you can use it in this setting - but you should also clarify what the journey is and if would be a long or short journey - for example “ the company has a long journey ahead of them to improve their management”
