Broke = have no money
EX: I can’t go to Japan because I’m broke.
Lame = not cool/not fun/not good
EX: I didn’t like that party, it was lame.
Mood = Same/I’m the same way/I feel the same
EX:
Person A: I’m so hungry all the time
Person B: Mood. (Or you can say “That’s a mood”)
(This is mostly just common with people on the internet/younger generation)
Sorta/Sort of/Kinda/Kind of = a little bit
EX: That’s sorta (sort of) cool
EX: That’s kinda (kind of) cool
(All of them are interchangeable)
A bunch = a lot
EX: Wow that’s a bunch of apples!
Freaked out = scared
EX: That horror movie had me freaked out.
✨TEXT SLANG:✨
Np = no problem
Dw = don’t worry
Wyd = what are you doing?
Nm = not much
V = very
pfp = profile pic
af = as f*ck (this is usually after an adjective. It emphasises the adjective. Like “that’s funny af”. Slang for “that’s really funny”. This is very informal. Only use it with friends)
Stfu = shut the f*ck up (shut up, but rude and informal)
Gtfo = Get the f*ck out (get out/leave, but rude and informal)
Wdym = what do you mean
Hf = have fun
Fr = for real (meaning like “it’s true”. But if it’s a question, “fr?”, it means “is that true?”)
