American Culture Post
In America, we often use the letter “k
” , which means ok or okay, when texting. Some examples are “I want to go to the store.” “K, do you need a ride?” Or “The homework was page 182.” “K,thanks.”
Using k should be done only in casual situations, as it is technically slang.
However, never simply say “k” as one text. This is considered very rude to many Americans, and will sound like you are being dismissive to them. If you are going to use “k” in a text, make sure to use it with other words
