This is the doorway of a local pub.

The face above the doorway is a type of architectural feature called a mascaron. It, and the other decorations, are meant to ward off evil spirits and stop them from entering the building. 🙅‍♂️👿🙅‍♂️

However, considering it is a pub, i think a lot of mischief happens inside even if bad spirits can't get in. 🍻
