🎥 Movie Review || 映画レビュー 🎥 (Part Ⅱ)

The aliens came to give us the gift of their language. They have no concept of linear time and that is reflected in their language.
As a result, those who learn it are able to view the past, present and future as a whole.

There are also some quite touching emotional moments that illustrate the implications of being able to see a lifetime in it's entirety.

This is a great movie for language learners, as the majority of the movie is basically the protagonist struggling to understand and master a new method of communication.
Something that I'm sure everybody reading this can identify with.

宇宙人は彼らの言語を贈り物として与えるために来ました。
彼らには時間という概念がありません。それは彼らの言語に反映されています。
そして、習得した人は過去、現在と未来が見えます。

ヴィルヌーヴ監督は映画の緊張感を上手く制御するので、初めから最後まで興味をそそられます。
さらに人生のすべてが見える能力の結果を説明するシーンが少し涙ぐましかったです。

外国語を勉強している人にとって、これは良い映画だと思います。
映画のほとんどは、新しい言語とコミュニケーション方法を習得するために主人公が頑張っています。
これを読んでいる人は絶対彼女に共感すると思います。
