On English we have a saying for amazing places that are not well
known: "Hidden Gems" the direct Japanese translation would be 隠された宝石 but this is too literal , so maybe 隠された場所?This phrase means that although the location (in this case a restaurant) is highly regarded, or very delicious, it is not popular, thus it is a gem, but hidden from most people.
What would be the best way to translate this idea into Japanese? A place that is excellent, but not very well known to people around the area.
I ask this because today I found one in Ichinomiya! A Morrocan restaurant newly opened and serving Ichinomiya's famous morning service!
