「はっ?」VS 「Huh?」
In Japanese, “Ha?” is quite rude. 😬

, “Huh?” is casual, but not so rude. We often use “Huh?” with friends, and nobody is bothered. It means, “What did you say?” or “I don’t understand.”👂❓
They sound very very similar, so it’s a little shocking for Japanese people. 😅
Please don’t get upset with English speakers for saying, “Huh?”
They only want to understand you better!
