    I really love this phrase "like a laverock in the lift". Laverock is the Scottish word for a lark. A wonderful little bird that sings. This phrase means to be like a laverock in the lift, perched up high in a tree or on a rock or maybe as it is flying and then to sing freely!

    There is a common between eastern and western, from ancient to nowadays, the literature like to express pure love using animals and plants. I suppose that probably because of their all acts from their genuine nature and instinct...Nice sharing.👏

    @Only欧令 That's a good point. Thank you for sharing. I agree with it. It's also curious how we can see many behaviours that we think are for humans that animals also do. For example, birds will preen themselves to look more attractive and find a partner, many animals also find a single mate for life, monkeys clean each other to build relationships etc.
