Phrase of the day: “More than enough”
This phrase is used when
you’re wanting to say that a number, price or quantity is more than necessary to do something. Words which are synonyms to this phrase are “excess, surplus, and overabundance”. The phrase can be used both verbally and written, but it’s used typically for informal situations.
Here’s an example:
Dave 🗣 “Do we have plenty of food and drink to take to this BBQ?”
Laura 🗣 “Oh, we have more than enough! Don’t worry”
