はだしのゲン第一巻読み終わりました!
言い切れないほど悲しい話ですが、

和風ケジャリーをつくってみました!
ケジャリーとは、イギリスとインド料理のコラボです!(っていうか、イギリス帝国が色んな人々を征して、その人たちから遺宝や文化を奪ったり、私したりしましたと思います。)
ご飯に軽くスパイス味をつけて、豆、燻製魚、茹で卵などを加えて、豪華な朝ごはんの一品ができます。
私が作った和風バージョンは、炊き込みスタイルでやってみました。昆布と枝豆、出汁などを加えて、かなりケジャリーから離れたものを作ったけど、美味しかったです!

I finished reading the first volume of Barefoot Gen. It’s difficult to express in words how sad this story is, but I thoroughly recommend it.
In the midst of a hellscape, the kind and brave little rascal called Gen is just wonderful.
Yesterday’s brunch:
I had a go at making a Japanese style kedgeree!
Kedgeree is a kind of collaboration between British and Indian cuisine! (Well, actually, I think what really happened was that the British empire went around stealing and appropriating the historical treasures and cultural artifacts of various peoples that they had subjugated.)
It consists of a dish of lightly spiced rice and legumes, to which smoked fish, boiled eggs and so on are added to make a rather luxurious breakfast.
My Japanese style version was made “takikomi gohan” style.
With the addition of kombu, edamame and dashi, it was actually pretty far removed from a real kedgeree, but it tasted really good!
