갈 거에요 vs 갈 거예요

In this sentence, the ending

'예요' is the right ending. When there is a vowel ending you use 예요.
example:
저는 여자 예요 - 여자 is a vowel ending

When there is a consonant ending, '에요' actually becomes '이에요'
example:
저는 영국 사람 이에요 - 사람 is a consonant ending

therefore: 갈 거에요 X 갈 거예요 √

    것 is a dependent noun that can't be followed by an ending marker(어미) and often shortened to 거. Therefore, it requires a stating postposition(서술격 조사); 이다. 거+이(다)+에요; 거예요

    Just simplely, 예요 is abbreviation of 이에요. So you can use 예요 to when use 이에요.
