Idiom of the Day:
“Tall order”
A “tall order” is an expression
Americans use to say that a task is difficult to achieve, and possibly unrealistic. This can be used when a customer or a boss is being unreasonably demanding of expectations. “Scott, can you find me a single man for me to date? He needs to be two meters tall, muscular, very wealthy, speaks multiple languages fluently, and is willing to leave the United States and live with me in my country.”
“Hahaha! Do you understand how tall of an order this is!?”
