English slang vocabulary: me time
"Me time" is time you spend

for yourself doing things you enjoy. This expression is generally only used by women. We also sometimes refer to it as "self-care", because it is taking care of yourself and your social, emotional, and physical needs.

Today I had some me time. It is good to take time for yourself once in awhile. I went to Starbucks and bought a coffee and I went to the hair salon. And I didn't do any schoolwork or housework today. I needed a day to just relax. 😊
