With COVID-19 consuming our world, I have been limited in my

ability to travel like I was used to just a few short months ago. As a society, we are experiencing a once in a lifetime shift in how we experience the world around us. Instead of sitting still and waiting for things to go back to normal, I have started to embrace the beauty that is around me. I took this photo while strolling through a beautiful botanical garden in Denver, Colorado. The stillness of the lilipads, the brightness of the flowers, and the reflection of the sky in the water all remind me that nature does not compromise itself even when the "normal" that is humans crave is fleeting.
